Twice the magazine has named him Lawyer of the Year in the area of Family Law Mediation. Most recently, in 2026, he was recognized again by Best Lawyers in Family Law, Family Law Mediation, and Family Law Arbitration, and named Lawyer of the Year for Family Law Mediation in Atlanta, one of the profession’s highest peer-reviewed honors.
Following six years at Georgia Legal Services, Hannibal became a member of Cartersville-based Perrotta, Cahn and Prieto, P.C. in 2000, where he was member of the largest northwest Georgia family law practice and later became managing partner.
Hannibal co-founded Hedgepeth & Heredia, which is now known as Hedgepeth Heredia LLC, in 2006 and remains managing partner of its practice.
